John Arndt, Jr. Honored with ‘Most Admired CEOs and Their Companies’ Award

Melissa Smithson

Each year, the Nashville Business Journal honors local CEOs who use their ability to inspire those around them.  The annual list of Most Admired CEOs is assembled by the Nashville Business Journal (NBJ) through nominations from the public.  Nominees are grouped into categories based on their company size and type, and then asked to vote on one another. Those with the highest scores after voting are this year’s Most Admired CEOs Awards honorees.  Among this year’s list of forty is DWC Construction CEO John Arndt, Jr., representing the category of private companies with 26-100 employees.  This is his sixth award from the NBJ in the last seven years.

John began his career with DWC Construction as a project engineer in 1981 and led the growth of the company by establishing the interior construction division, and eventually becoming the COO responsibly for all construction activity.  In September of 2008, John was named President and CEO.   DWC Construction is celebrating it’s 75th year serving Middle Tennessee.  He will be recognized alongside the rest of this year’s winners in early December 2022.
