The Project:

Tandy Wilson, the Owner and Executive Chef of City House Restaurant, knew he wanted to be in Germantown when he left Café Margo and set out to open his own place. He had thought he’d found his spot in a planned Germantown development. When that development fell through, he started looking into the feasibility of converting a Historic old house in the same area that had been used as an art studio for years. He approached DWC to help him realize this dream. We engaged a designer we knew would be able to create the restaurant he envisioned, and the rest is history. City House has been a Nashville icon since its opening in 2007 and chef Tandy Wilson was named a James Beard winner in 2016.
